The juniors also impressed at the Parwich Junior fell race recently, with Will Tighe taking a fine first place in the Under 12 category, Elliot Meylan closely following in second place.

Brother James Tighe was the winner of the Under 10s, while Max Graham was second Under 10. Jacob Buckley, meanwhile, has been selected to run for Derbyshire on September 14 in the 4 x 100 metre relays.

The recent Taddington Lanes 4.5 mile event was the venue for more great results from club members with Bennnett predictably coming home first.
