Spireites: ‘Sam Togwell’s goal could define our season,’ says Chesterfield’s Mark Crossley
The midfielder latched on to Alex Henshall’s corner to rescue a point for the Spireites in a thrilling 2-2 draw with fellow play-off hopefuls Bradford City.
The Blues came from behind twice and Crossley reflected on an ‘exciting game’ of football.

Hide AdHe said: “I thought it was a fantastic game. I thought both sets of supporters were superb during the match and really lifted the players on the pitch.
“It was a typical cup tie. We knew it was going to be like that because ourselves, Exeter and Bradford are fighting for that final play-off place.
“There were a few nerves out there and a few nerves on the sidelines as well, but in the end I thought it was a fair result.”
“We always speak about defining moments in football. Maybe that goal in the final minutes could be our defining moment of the season. We’re still in there, that’s the main thing.”
