Alfreton Town hoping to build on cup success for final match of season at North Ferriby
Reds manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to build on Tuesday night’s Derbyshire Senior Cup success but Alfreton will face a major task against a Ferriby side who boast the best home record in the entire division with just two defeats suffered by Billy Heath’s side in 20 games so far.

Hide AdLast season’s FA Trophy winners have enjoyed another very good season and the Villagers’ home record is an impressive won 13, drawn 5, lost 2.
Tough is definitely the word as Ferriby have only lost two of their last ten in the league whilst the Reds have only won two of their last ten games for points.
However, the Reds will still travel in confidence having extended their unbeaten run away from home to twelve games in all competitions in midweek with the cup success and they will be protecting a proud record of not losing away in 2016.

In their last outing, Ferriby overcame travel problems which resulted in a six-hour trip to Lowestoft on Tuesday night to triumph 3-0 after the game kicked-off 35 minutes late.
The first game of the season between the sides saw United triumph 1-0 at the Impact Arena back on November 10th thanks to a 14th minute Liam King goal.
