Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law thinks has called on his players to finally learn from their repeated mistakes.

The Reds boss was left angry after watching his side chuck away a 2-1 lead at home to high-flying AFC Flyde.

And he demanded his players learn once and for all from their repeated mistakes if they want to progress as both individuals and as a team.

Law said:“As a group we are currently too weak to see out games. Too many players can’t do the simple things and carry out instructions” said Law.

“I’ve told them (the players) that you are never going to win football games if, as a group or an individual, you keep making the wrong decisions.

“I’ve told them it will be the same this Saturday unless we go out and carry out instructions.

“Everyone makes mistakes in life, but better people who want to move on won’t do it again.

“Unfortunately, we have got players who are making the same mistakes again, again and again. It’s very simply not good enough.

“Maybe as a group we are not good enough. Whether we can do enough to change that at this stage in the season I don’t know” added Law.

“We will come in and train on Thursday, talk about it (the Fylde game).”

This Saturday Alfreton face Whaley Bridge in the Derbyshire Senior Cup.
