Donohue signs new Spireites contract
Welsh midfielder Dion Donohue has committed his future to Chesterfield by signing a new two-year contract.
The 22-year-old, who signed for the Spireites last summer following a successful trial period, will remain at the club until at least 2018.
Donohue made his debut last season against Colchester United and went on to make 19 further appearances in league and cup for Danny Wilson’s men.
Chesterfield are back in action tonight when they head to Rochdale in the first round of the EFL Cup, before Swindon Town come to the Proact Stadium on Saturday in League One.
