Are you looking for a unique and relaxing way to explore the stunning scenery of the Peak District this summer?

If you’re planning a relaxed, fun-filled day out with the family - or just fancy exploring somewhere new - then hop aboard the Peak Sightseer, an open-top bus tour offering breathtaking views of some of the area’s most loved destinations.

The Peak Sightseer open-top bus, operated by Stagecoach is a flexible way to see the stunning Peak District at your own pace.

You can enjoy some of the most iconic sights in the Peak District - without the hassle of driving around winding country roads.

This hop-on, hop-off bus is ideal for taking in the views and sharing the journey with friends, family, or even as a special solo treat. And if you have a friendly well-behaved pooch, then your furry best friend is also welcome onboard (and free of charge).

Two scenic routes to choose from

The tour is split into two beautiful routes: The Red Route and the Blue Route, and both give you the same hop-on-hop-off flexibility.

This means you can take your time at each stop and explore at your own pace.

Or you can stay on the bus and just enjoy the ride and the views – each route takes around an hour, or just a little more.

Flexible travel that fits around you and your day

One of the best parts of the Peak Sightseer open-top bus is how easy and flexible it is to use. You’re not tied to one plan and you can build your day as you go.

Maybe you can start with a morning at Chatsworth House, hop off in Bakewell for lunch and a wander, then ride up to Castleton for an afternoon ice cream and cave tour.

Or, if the weather turns, you can change your route to take you to sheltered spots - because the ticket is valid all day on both the Red and the Blue routes.

The buses run regularly through the day, so you never have to rush.
