Heinz is threatening to put beans and spaghetti hoops together in one tin
Heinz has caused controversy online after polling its followers on whether the company's signature spaghetti hoops and baked beans should be combined.

Hide AdIn honour of National Toast Day (27 Feb), the Heinz Twitter account set up a poll to find out what their followers thought of the potential collaboration. The poll was accompanied by an image of how the beans and hoops might look combined together in a tin - emblazoned with the name 'Boopz'.
The tweet read, "When it's #NationalToastDay, and you can't choose between Heinz Beanz and Heinz Hoops - why not have them together? Vote to make BOOPZ happen"

So far, the poll has over 89k votes, with the concept proving controversial - "no" is in the lead, with 54 per cent of voters objecting to the combination.
Some Twitter users were disgusted by the idea of beans and hoops together, with one responding, "That's soo wrong ..they need to be kept apart at all times. What were you thinking@HeinzUK". Another simply responded with, "yuck".
One user went as far as to call Boopz "a food war crime", adding that "contaminating the hoops is against nature".

However, some followers of Heinz were more positive, with one even volunteering themselves as a taste tester for the new product, "Yes please. I also volunteer as a taste tester because this is going to be yummy. Slide into my DMs Heinz if you require my tastebuds."
Another begged the negative commenters not to "deprive others of the wonders of Boopz".
