Young doctors' support
Junior doctors and their supporters are pictured here at the Royal Chesterfield Hospital protesting against a contract Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has introduced which many doctors feel is unsafe.
At a meeting of the hospital’s council of governors Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Keep our NHS Public asked them not to implement the contract to safeguard the quality of patient care.
A petition with 4,000 signatures against the plans was presented at the meeting.
