Woman injured after knocked over by dog
A walker was injured on Monsal Dale after being knocked over by a dog.
The 40-year-old woman from Matlock fractured her ankle following the incident on Sunday at around 2pm.
Fourteen members Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were called to White Lodge car park. The woman had been walking with her husband and a small group of friends when she is believed to have been knocked over by a dog.
She was treated at the site by first-aiders before being carried by a stretcher back to the A6.
The woman was then treated at Chesterfield hospital for a fractured ankle.
