Witness appeal after Hope Valley assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was assaulted at a pub in the Hope Valley.

The 19-year-old victim was at the Ladybower Inn, in Ladybower, Bamford, when the incident happened at about 6.20pm on Thursday, November 27.

She was assaulted by a man in the kitchen area of the pub and was assisted by a customer and members of staff.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who was in the pub at the time of the offence and may have witnessed it.
