WEIRD WEATHER: Stunning cloud formation spotted over Derbyshire
One of our eagle-eyed photographers Anne Shelley spotted this stunning cloud formation over Derbyshire this week.
The unusual ‘Asperitas’ clouds are more commonly seen over the Great Plains of North America - but this one tuned up over the Peak District village of Baslow.
The clouds are so rare they were not given an official name until 2015.
