Sunday will also see some sunshine but also cloudy spells, and it is expected to remain dry with temperatures rising slightly to 12C by the afternoon.

Monday is likely to be cloudier, with an outside chance of a shower in the morning and more persistent rain in the evening. Temperatures will reach 13C in Chesterfield.

Beyond the bank holiday, the weather is likely to warm up in early May but become more unsettled.
