Waste prevention funding up for grabs in Derbyshire
Businesses and community groups could scoop a share of £800,000 to set up a project aimed at preventing materials going to waste.
Grants of up to £25,000 could be made available through the Waste Prevention Fund for projects which help reduce wastes. Councillor Dean Collins, Derbyshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Infrastructure, said: “Derbyshire is a hive of innovation and we want to focus some of that thinking to look for ways of helping residents and businesses to reduce waste.”
