John Allsop, for the Conservatives, David Cheetham, for Labour, and Charles Watson, for UKIP, are contesting the North East Derbyshire District Council ward.
Residents can cast their vote at Coal Aston Village Hall or Gladys Buxton Adult Education Centre until 10pm today.
