A Creswell Crags spokesman said: “Join an expert guide on a tour of our largest cave, Robin Hood Cave. Discover what Creswell Crags was like during the last ice age. Who was here? What was here? What were they doing? How do we know? Find out the answers to these questions and many more in a fascinating tour which lasts about an hour.”

On Saturday, Creswell Crags hosted a family fun day to celebrate the Council for British Archaeology’s Festival of Archaeology.

There were talks by experts, demonstrations of ice age survival skills and flint identification sessions.
