At just after 10.45pm yesterday, Friday, April 13 firefighters and Derbyshire Police were called to a vehicle fire on the A619 near BAslow.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was out on arrival. The crews made the scene safe and handed the driver over to the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.”
