UPDATE: Congestion hits M1 near Chesterfield

Congestion is currently affecting the M1 near Chesterfield.

The traffic is currently backed up on the northbound carriageway just north of junction 29.

The Highways Agency say the tailback has been caused by bridge repairs.

Delays of around 30 minutes are currently being experienced and road conditions are expected to return back to normal by around 1pm.
