Two High Peak homes burgled
Burglars targeted two houses in High Peak on Monday, stealing electronics and jewellery.
Thieves stole a Samsung tablet, a Kindle, a gold fob watch, various items of jewellery and a laptop from a property on Woodbourne Road, New Mills, between 8.20am on Monday and 4pm on Tuesday after gaining entry via an unsecured first floor window.
A house on Brookfield was also burgled after 6pm, when offenders gained entry by forcing a door. They took jewellery including diamond earrings, a gold chain with a trowel pendant and a gold bracelet.
