Two casualties treated after A38 smash

Two casualties had to be treated by the ambulance service following an accident on the A38 today (Saturday, February 14).

Firefighters from Ripley and Kingsway attended the road traffic collision on the southbound carriageway of the A38 between Ripley, Coxbench and Hartshay Hill at 2.04pm today.

On arrival they found police and ambulance service were already on scene and all people have been released from the vehicles.

They made one saloon car safe and left at 2.30pm.
