Hide AdFCC Chairman, Matthew Rogers, said: “Without the support of Derbyshire County Council, who dredged the canal last winter, this would not have been possible. We would like to thank DCC and all our supporters. This is an exciting time.”
This project is being supported by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and is part-funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Matlock’s councillor, Andy Botham, said the boat trips will be another attraction to draw people to this part of Derbyshire.
