Travel update: Difficulties on the M1 and A38 cause delays in Derbyshire

Commuters and residents are being warned about the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Tuesday, July 8, in and around Chesterfield and Derbyshire.

M1 Derbyshire, southbound between A617, at the M1 junction 29, and the A38, at the M1 junction 28 is causing delays.

M1 Derbyshire - Queueing traffic on M1 southbound between J29, A617 (Chesterfield) and J28, A38 (Alfreton). In the roadworks area. All lanes have been re-opened.

A38 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A38 southbound in Derby between Palm Court Island and Markeaton Island. In the roadworks area.
