Travel update for Derbyshire
Motorists and commuters in and around Derbyshire are being warned about the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Friday, October 23.
On the A57 in South Yorkshire - One lane blocked and queuing traffic on A57 Sheffield Parkway westbound in Sheffield between the Parkway Drive junction and the A61 Derek Dooley Way junction, because of a broken down vehicle. Congestion on A630 Sheffield Parkway to the B6200 Handsworth Road junction.
On the A601 Derbyshire - Traffic Street in Derby closed northbound from the A601 Bradshaw Way junction to The Cock Pit Traffic Lights, because of Derby City Half Marathon.
On the M1 in Derbyshire - Narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph on M1 in both directions between J28, A38 (Alfreton) and J29a, Markham Vale, because of roadworks. Expect delays.
