TRAVEL: Snow expected to cause disruptions
The Met Office has given a yellow warning of snow for the East Midlands after forecasters predicted snow for Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire from this morning and throughout the day.
Travel disruptions around Chesterfield and the county include the following warnings:

Hide AdA628 Woodhead Pass High Peak, both ways between A6024 and A616. A628 Derbyshire - The carriageway is just passable and hazardous driving conditions on A628 Woodhead Pass between Holmfirth Turn Off in High Peak and Flouch Roundabout in Langsett, because of snow.
Traffic Incident: M1 Derbyshire, southbound at A617 [M1 junction 29]. M1 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic earlier on M1 southbound at J29, A617 (Chesterfield).
Traffic Incident: A52 Derby Road Nottingham, eastbound between A6007 Ilkeston Road and A6514 Clifton Boulevard. A52 Nottinghamshire - Heavy traffic on A52 Derby Road inbound in Nottingham between Bramcote Island and The Qmc Island.
