Snake Pass reopens after motorbike crash

The A57 Snake Pass has now reopened following an earlier motorbike crash.

Derbyshire Constabulary's High Peak Response Team urged motorists to "take care on the roads on this sunny day" after the crash on the A57.

Emergency services were called to the road at 11:40am this morning, August 2, after the crash involving a single motorbike.

The usually busy road had been closed from the bottom of Sheffield Road to Ladybower Reservoir, causing heavy traffic.
