Reports of disruption after car catches fire on Chesterfield road
There are reports of travel disruption this morning due to a car fire in Chesterfield.
Witnesses reported long queues of traffic earlier this morning (September 29) due to the incident on the A619 between Netherthorpe School and Norbriggs Primary School.
On an image posted to Facebook, flames could be seen beneath the engine of the car, which was stopped at the side of the road.
It is believed that firefighters and police are at the scene and that the blaze has now been extinguished.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
