Queues on M1 in Derbyshire due to accident and broken down lorry

The two incidents occurred close to each other on M1 northbound between Tibshelf Services and junction 29 A617 towards Mansfield and Chesterfield.

One lane is closed causing traffic to build in the area.

According to the Traffic website Inrix, the lane is closed “to assist with both an accident and separate broken down lorry in close proximity of each other. Tibshelf Services is located between J28 and J29."
