Man found dead on A6 in New Mills
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was found dead on a New Mills street.
The 61-year-old was discovered on the A6 Buxton Road, near to Newtown Primary School and the Miners’ Welfare, at around 1.30am this morning (Sunday).
Officers from Buxton CID are investigating the incident and wish to speak to the driver of a white transit van that was seen in the area at the time.
