M1 delays after warning about debris in carriageway

Derbyshire drivers using the M1 are warned to expect delays after debris was spotted in the carriageway.

The Highways Agency issued the warning about M1 southbound, between junctions J27 and J26, just over the border in Nottinghamshire.

One lane is currently closed.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to return between 10.45 and 11am when the incident has been cleared.
