The M1 is back open again southbound from junction 30 in Barlborough to junction 29A at Markham Vale Services.

But long delays and tailbacks are expected following the motorway being closed for two hours this afternoon.

It comes after a power line fell on a patch of grass near the motorway which then set alight.
