Lane on M1 near Chesterfield reopens after lorry broke down

Highways England have reopened a lane of traffic on the M1 near Chesterfield, after it was temporarily closed this morning when a lorry broke down.

Traffic is now flowing well on the M1 Southbound from J29A A6192 in Markham Vale and Bolsover to J29 A617 towards Chesterfield and Mansfield.

The lane was temporarily shut after a lorry broke down on the motorway earlier today (March 12) causing some disruption to drivers on the road.

But the lorry has now been cleared and the lane is reopen.
