High Peak road closed after serious collision involving pedestrian

A road has been closed after a pedestrian was involved in a serious collision with a car in the High Peak.

Green Lane, in Chinley. is currently closed following a serious collision involving a Citroen C4 and a pedestrian earlier today, October 25.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said the road will remain closed for a number of hours.

There are unconfirmed reports that an air ambulance attended the scene.
