Drivers warned of delays as road closed after air ambulance lands in Derbyshire park

Derbyshire drivers have been warned of disruption as a road remains closed in Matlock after air ambulance crews attended an incident.

Dale Road in Matlock remains currently closed off following an incident this afternoon

Derbyshire Police officers are present at the scene and the air ambulance has landed in Hall Leys Park in Matlock.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: “While on patrol, officers came across a man having a medical episode in Bank Road, Matlock, at midday today, on March 22.

Paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene along with the Air Ambulance which landed in Hall Leys Park.

“The man has been taken to hospital for treatment, and his next of kin have been informed.”
