Drivers face delays on busy Derbyshire A-road with heavy traffic building after crash

Drivers are being warned of delays on a major Derbyshire A-road following a collision this morning.

A road traffic collision has occurred on the A38 southbound at Pinxton, near Alfreton.

A lane closure is currently in place on the route, and heavy traffic is building in the area while recovery work takes place.

The incident is causing delays for drivers exiting the M1 at J28 for the A38 towards Alfreton, Ripley and Derby.
