Disruption on M1 in Derbyshire with lane closure and heavy traffic

Traffic monitoring site Inrix has reported an incident on the M1 northbound in Derbyshire this afternoon.

A van has broken down at J28, which connects the motorway to the A38 between Alfreton and Mansfield.

This has forced the closure of one lane – and heavy traffic is building on the route while the vehicle is recovered.
