Crash triggers Derbyshire M1 lane closures

Traffic is mounting on the M1 in Derbyshire after a crash caused two lane closures.

Two lanes have been shut off on the southbound carriageway between J30 for Barlborough and J9A for Markham Vale following the crash this afternoon (Sunday, December 13).

A recovery operation is underway but traffic cameras are showing queues at the scene.

Nobody is understood to have hurt.
