TRAFFIC: Update for Derbyshire

The M1 Southbound is congested between junction 29 and 28, Chesterfield and Alfreton in the roadworks area.

More slow traffic on the A610 Ripley Road, between the B61013 for Bullbridge and A6 Matlock Road, Ambergate. Vey slow traffic reported in both directions near the Excavator pub, travel time 20 minutes.

Heavy traffic on the A61 Derby Road in both directions, around the Hornsbridge Island, A617 junction for Chesterfield.

Roadworks continue to cause delays at the A6 Dale Road South near Grove Lane, Darley Dale, with medium congestion.

Other medium delays at the A61 Derby Road near Wingerworth, B5056 near High Peak Trail crossing, Longcliffe and A628 in Crowden near Sheepwash Corner. Severe delays continue at Snake Pass on the A57, closed in both directions with 40 minute delays on 19-mile diversions.
