Traffic delays on the A38 and M1 northbound carriageways
Motorists have faced long delays this morning, Tuesday, May 5, in Derbyshire, after long tailbacks and gridlocked traffic built up on the A38 and the M1 motorway.
Police confirmed there had been a collision between three cars on the A38 northbound carriageway and no one was injured but this created delays from 8am.
Motorists also reported big delays on the M1 northbound between Junctions 27 and 29 between Nottinghamshire and Chesterfield during rush-hour.
