A casualty has been treated following a house fire in Staveley this morning.

Firefighters from Chesterfield and Staveley attended the house fire on Duke Street at 8.47am.

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue have said it was a bedroom fire.

A Fire & Rescue spokesman said: "Casualty treated for effects of smoke inhalation. Derbyshire Police attended also for controlling traffic."
