Thieves target Derbyshire vans

Police are appealing for information after two vans were targeted by thieves in Pinxton.

The window of a van parked on a driveway on Wharf Road was smashed sometime between 6pm and 9.15pm on Saturday, November 12, and a number of tools were stolen.

Tools, and a meter appliance, were also stolen from a van parked on a driveway on Victoria Road sometime overnight between Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13.

The meter appliance is a specialised piece of equipment and is described as being about the size of a microwave, with a carry handle on top.
