Thieves made off with sentimental jewellery

Derbyshire Police have released CCTV stills of a car they would like to trace after thieves made off with jewellery from a home in Codnor.

Sometime between 2.15pm and 4.30pm on Thursday, September 15, thieves forced open a ground floor window at a property on Station Lane, Codnor.

An untidy search was carried out and thieves made off with sentimental jewellery and a metal safe.

Officers investigating the burglary how now released CCTV stills of a white Citroen DS that was seen in the area around the time of the incident.

Police are keen to speak to the driver of the car to help eliminate the vehicle from their enquiries.
