Take a virtual tour of Creswell Crags' Witch Mark cave with amazing 3D video

The popular visitor attraction on the border of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire is closed due to COVID-19 but a video of its underground wonders has been created from 3D scans.

Sheffield band's comedy version of classic song finds humour in life during lockdown – and it’s raising money for the NHS

The footage, made by Sheffield Hallam University lecturer Jeremy Lee, shows the hidden cavern known as the ‘Witch Mark’ cave due to the mysterious markings which carved into its ceilings and walls hundreds of years ago.

It is thought to be the largest collection of these ‘protection marks’ in the UK.

Creswell Crags says the video, available to view here, is ‘just the start’ of a project to make its caves more accessible through technology.

The independent museum, which relies on income from visitors, has asked people to show their support if they can by visiting its JustGiving page or texting CRESWELLCRAGS to 70085 to donate £10.
