Take Me Out star is set to host '˜heart throb' event

Victoria Elliott from Chesterfield is judging charity event Mr Heart Throb to help raise vital funds for Ashgate Hospicecare.

Mr Heart Throb is a fun-filled event where men battle it out in a number of rounds to win the title. The event will take place at the Proact Stadium on Friday, February 19 from 7.30pm.

Sporty Victoria has definitely made an impression on ITV dating show presented by Paddy McGuiness after admitting she goes to the gym three times a day and planked for seven minutes on live Saturday night TV. Her chatty personality will certainly make this charity event a great night, and who knows she may find love at Mr Heart Throb.

Victoria is joined on the judging panel by Annette Gibson, Ward Sister at Ashgate Hospicecare, reigning Champion Scott Timbrell and Chesterfield Netball Club’s Amy Revell.

The contestant line up includes Paul Mahmood, production director at TM Steels, Chris Maloney, director of North South Training. Dave Trickett, a landscape gardener who is taking part in memory of his daughter Kimberley who was cared for by Ashgate Hospicecare, Logan Clark and bus driver Rob Hall.

Each contestant will be sponsored to take part and the money each contestant raises will make a big difference Ashgate Hospicecare. Last year this event raised more than £5,000.

Charlotte Gratton, events fundraiser at Ashgate Hospicecare said: “Events like this really put the fun in fundraising. It’s great to see the community coming together and helping local people by raising funds for Ashgate Hospicecare.”
