Surge in second home buying

The number of new homes being built in Derbyshire has increased, according to Government statistics, causing a surge in second home buyers.

Leading property letting specialist has seen an increase of stock in the area of 83.3 per cent in the past 12 months.

Managing Director James Morris said: “Derbyshire has always been a popular tourist spot for us, and it’s not surprising considering the amount of villages and towns available to visit.

“We’re always looking to increase our properties in the area, due to demand outstripping supply during our busy months, so never has it been a better time to make that investment into the area.”
