Strikes force East Midlands Airport to cancel flights

Flights from East Midlands Airport will be affected by striking workers today.

Air traffic control workers in France walked out at 5pm yesterday and not expected to resume until 4am, Wednesday.

The latest walkout is the 13th in 14 weeks.

As a result, two Ryanair flights to France have been cancelled, including a the 11.20am flight to Limoges (FR1633) and the 5.05pm flight to Dinard (FR1653).

Ryanair have been forced to cancel 102 flights across he country as a result.
