Snow, ice and gale weather warnings for Derbyshire
Derbyshire residents waking up to a sprinkling of snow are advised that there are weather warnings in place for the rest of today (Wednesday, January 14).
The Met Office has issued amber warnings for snow, ice and wind across the county throughout the day.
There will be dry and sunny spells, however it is likely to cloud over towards the evening with some icy patches.
It will be a cold day with strong winds and the temperature will not exceed four degrees Celsius during daylight hours.
In the evening there is likely to be gale force winds and heavy rain.
