Sneak-in burglars take cash from OAP

The offenders went into a house in Coldwell End, Youlgrave, near Bakewell, at about 3.30pm on Tuesday, May 6.

The 87-year-old victim spotted a man in his house and was then asked to hand over cash.

A second intruder then appeared and the pair demanded that the man hand over money, before searching the house and leaving with a quantity of cash.

One of the men was white, 5ft 10in, aged between 18 and 30 and of medium build. He wore light grey jogging bottoms and a grey top and had a scarf covering part of his face. The second was white, 5ft 8in, aged about 18 and of medium build. He wore dark clothing, gloves and also had a scarf covering his face.
