Sight Support celebrates after cash boost

Sight Support Derbyshire is celebrating after receiving a cheque for £4,500 from Central England Co-operative. The cheque was presented to Martin Wilson from the group by store manager Wayne Ingham, after it made an application to Central England Co-operative's Community Dividend Fund. Sight Support Derbyshire helps local blind and partially sighted people of all ages through a range of services all supported by our 200 volunteers. The funds will be used to upgrade computer equipment at Sight Support Derbyshire. This will enable the organisation to work much more efficiently and to use more up-to-date software, such as Zoomtext magnification software for the visually impaired.
