Shopper caught using counterfeit notes after shopping spree in the East Midlands
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit 'stopped a car on the M1 after counterfeit notes were used to buy more than £1,000 worth of goods.
Four men were in the car on their way home to Yorkshire after a shopping spree in the East Midlands.They obtained goods totalling around £1,200.Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "Detected, intercepted and all arrested. Items recovered and vehicle #Seized. #Crime #SoCloseYetSoFar."
