Retired teacher from Derbyshire died in road collision, inquest hears

An inquest has been opened after a Derbyshire woman died following a road collision.

Retired teacher Kennedy Hunns, 60, of Hindersitch Lane, Whatstandwell, was pronounced dead at Queen’s Medical Centre on August 20.

On Friday, Chesterfield Coroner’s Court was told the cause of her death was a road traffic collision and multiple pelvic fractures.

No further details were given about the collision.

Coroner Susan Evans said: “I extend my condolences to her loved ones.”

She adjourned the full inquest to a later date.
