RESCUE ME: All you need is Hope

Hope '“ It's a big name for a dog to live up to but an easy task for this beautiful Shepherd cross.

And hope is all she had before going into care at RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.

Hope, needless to say, had something of a difficult start to her life. But now is your chance to alter all of that.

This two-and-a-half year-old is a real special lady. Sweet-natured, well-mannered, and whose Shepherd-like cleverness and love of food should ensure that training her is a joy for everyone involved.

Centre care manager Gary Taylor said: “She is excellent when walking on-lead, has good basic manners, and adores toys and games – it is rare to see her without a cuddly toy.

“Hope can however, be a little wary of newcomers, so might need a little time to get used to her potential new owners. She is probably not a dog who wishes to be overly mothered, but other than that she will make someone a fantastic companion.

“What she really needs is a home in which she can rebuild her confidence. She’s been through a lot in her short life and really deserves this chance.

“Please give this gorgeous lady a chance.”

Hope would be best placed an only dog within an adult-only home. For more information visit: www.chesterfield-rspca.org.uk or call the Spital Lane branch on 01246 273358.
